Description
In part of being a Kitchen Helper and Dishwasher at Thiru Gourmet, your invaluable input will maintain a smooth, properly coordinated kitchen. There will be general support for other activities and helping complete all area support to the chefs and staff daily. You will be expected to clean dishes, keep a clean work environment, and assist in simple food preparations. Maintaining cleanliness and order in the kitchen, you will significantly contribute to the great service of the guests. The job will provide an opportunity to work in a busy, friendly atmosphere where collaboration is valued.
- Washing and sanitizing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Packing food orders correctly for delivery and takeout.
- Cleaning and organizing kitchen equipment.
- Maintaining hygiene in food preparation and storage areas.
- Assisting chefs with basic kitchen prep when needed.
- Lifting and moving supplies such as rice bags, onions, or potatoes (up to 50 lbs).
- Following all food safety and hygiene standards.
This is a fast-paced job that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
