Job Description – Farm Hand (Cropping & Harvest Team)
Working as a Farm hand, you will become an essential member of the Cropping and Harvest Teams, assisting with the production of the best silage and forage for the dairy herds. It is a practical occupation because one has to deal with crops throughout the farming and harvesting processes to guarantee the livestock the finest feeds. You will find yourself working with machinery, farm equipment, and the help in keeping fields ready to bring in as much product as possible. To get this job done, one should be detailed and have a great work ethic. It is a fulfilling experience to be part of the core of dairy farming activity.
- Operating modern John Deere & Fendt tractors and other agricultural machinery.
- Performing mowing, spreading, raking, silage production, cropping, and harvesting.
- Assisting with farm irrigation systems for optimal crop growth.
- Carrying out general farm labour tasks.
- Maintaining safety and productivity standards in all operations.

Requirements for the Farm Hand Job
