Job Description:

As a Fortescue Carpenter, your duties will include ensuring the stability and upgrading of the facilities of the camp and mines of the company. When you inspect the buildings, you will be responsible for organizing repairs, and all work should be done up to the high standards expected by Fortescue to perform in terms of safety, efficiency, and quality. Roles and Responsibilities:

Perform timely building maintenance across camp and mine site facilities.
Conduct regular inspections and raise notifications for required work.
Support continuous site improvements and maintenance initiatives.
Scope maintenance work and small projects, including material take-offs.
Undertake roof maintenance duties (working at heights certification required).
Comply with all safety standards and company policies.

Job Requirements:

Australian Recognised Carpentry Trade Qualification.
Proven experience as a qualified carpenter in relevant industries.
Ability to scope work requirements and prepare material take-offs.
Working at Heights certification for roof-related tasks.
Current Driver’s Licence.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with SAP or other maintenance management systems (desirable).
